Nails that are soft and brittle can be major issue. They will continue to break down no matter how hard you attempt to grow them if you do not take good care of them, so here are seven techniques to make them seem healthier than ever:
1. Avoid using nail polish all of the time.
According to dermatologists, painting nails for long time allows chemicals in the manicure to permeate the nails, causing discoloration and fissures.  Of course, this does not imply that you should entirely abandon multicolored nails, but giving your nails vacation now and again would be helpful to their health.
2. Avoid using nail clippers.
If we do not clip our nails on a regular basis, they might get damaged and broken. When it comes to nail care equipment, though, it’s critical to make the right decision. The cutters are the simplest to use, but they are not the greatest since they might produce cracks.
3. Don’t start cleaning until you’ve put on your gloves.
Wearing latex or rubber gloves for several hours a day might harm your nails, according to lab workers. When you don’t put them on, though, the same thing can happen, at least when you’re doing housekeeping. Detergents not only contain dangerous chemicals, but continuous contact with water can also weaken them. Invest in an excellent pair of rubber gloves and remember to wear them the next time you do the dishes.
4. Consume extra rice.
Our food choices, as well as our appearance, have significant impact on our health.  Vitamin B, which is contained in rice, is one of the vital vitamins for nail growth and strengthening.  As result, eating rice many times week can assist in the strengthening of your nails.
5. Stay away from the nail file.
Although it may seem counterintuitive, a nail file will not help them in the long run.  The components will strengthen the nails at first, but they will dry up with time, making the nails brittle and prone to breakage.

6. Apply Vaseline to the nails.
Vaseline is an absolute must-have in any nail-care arsenal. It helps to keep your nails moisturized, and as well can aid fragile nails by repairing them if used daily.

7. Soak your nails in orange juice for a few minutes.
Vitamin C-rich foods are necessary for overall health and, of course, nail and hair growth. Try soaking your nails in fresh orange juice for 10 minutes each day to promote faster development.
