The official song for the 2022 World Cup has been chosen. The official song “Qatar 2022” is titled “Hayya Hayya (Better Together),” and it is sung by Trinidad Cardona, Davido, and Aisha.
The FIFA entertainment strategy was created to develop new and meaningful links between football fans, music lovers, players, artists, and the game and songs that everyone enjoys, according to FIFA.
By combining influences from throughout the world, the trio of American star Trinidad Cardona, Afrobeats icon Davido, and Qatari wonder Aisha encapsulates the essence of the FIFA World Cup and the FIFA Sound strategy.
“Combining voices from America, Africa and the Middle East, this song symbolizes how music and football can unite the world,” said FIFA Commercial Director Kay Madati. “As part of FIFA’s renewed musical strategy, the multi-track soundtrack will bring passionate fans closer to the spirit of the FIFA World Cup than ever before.” Drawing on R&B and reggae influences, the song embodies the emotion of a football festival that will illuminate the world later this year.
The song is the first of a series of vocal songs set to hit the airwaves in the following months as anticipation builds for the FIFA World Cup, which begins on November 21, 2022.
