Hair Conditioner Before Shampoo?

Recently we’ve seen that most of the tricks are getting to us through TikTok.  This time different videos on the app made us doubt about the way we washed our hair.

Shampoos are traditionally used before hair conditioners to guarantee that dirt and oil are removed from the hair. Natural oils, proteins, and plant extracts in the balm, on the other hand, aid to make hair silky, lustrous, and smooth. The reverse hair washing process is known as the balm-then-shampoo method.

There is currently no scientific evidence to support the safety and efficacy of this washing process. You can use it before shampooing if your hair is volumeless, “flat,” or oily after conditioning.

This new way, has 3 steps:

1. Massage the conditioner on parted hair and leave for a few minutes.
2. Apply shampoo without rinsing the balm and wash.
3. Rinse your hair.

The hair is neither oily or lacks volume, according to many who utilize this approach. You can try this method of cleaning your hair if you think it looks healthier because there is no proof that it is hazardous.
