By transferring users’ data into US servers, Meta has broken an EU Data Protection Regulation. The EU ordered an immediate stop to processing the data in the US within 6 months.
There will be no immediate stop to the operations of Facebook, nor WhatsApp or Instagram in Europe, -Meta announced.
