Lucie Štěpánková is an actress who is currently known, for example, for her role in The Golden Swan. In the past, however, she also appeared in many other series, which include, for example, Pojišťovna štěšice, Vyprávej or Prípady 1st épartement.

She used to play more positive characters. In Ulica and in the TV series Vyprávej, she had nice roles in which she was likable and people loved her. But in Cases of the 1st Ward, she turned into an insidious monster.

“People on the street or in the store still approach me and say that I’m a pretty bitch,” she confided to the server Aha! “But it’s never happened to me that they didn’t sell me a roll because of that,” he adds with a smile.

He will not prevent his daughters from acting
Even though she experienced firsthand that the work of an actress is sometimes difficult, she decided that if her daughters want to follow in her footsteps, she will certainly not prevent them.

“I want them to do what they enjoy. That’s the most important thing. Acting is of course beautiful, it also presents many obstacles, it is not easy to succeed. So I will certainly warn them, but I will not stand in their way,” she confided to iDNES .

Issues in Cases 1st Ward
Last year saw the premiere of the last series of the series Cases of the 1st Department, where Lucie Štěpánková played an unsympathetic police director. It was said that getting into the role was not easy for her.

“The beginnings were not easy for me,” he admits . She adds that she got used to the role in the end, because thanks to it, the director gave her the opportunity to play in the mini-series Mathematics of Crime, where her serial husband is played by her real husband, the actor Radek Žák.

There she discovered that playing an intimate scene with her own husband is sometimes more difficult than playing it with another actor. “So I really felt like the whole crew was looking right into my bedroom, and I was embarrassed,” she explains .
