The Oscars night Oscars started with an incident, where part of it was Will Smith and Chris Rock. The last one made a joke which seemed to not be approved from Smith couple.
At first everything seemed like a joke or some kind of organization. Chris Rock was introducing a category and made a joke with Jada Pinkett Smith, Will’s wife.
“Jada, I love you, GI Jane 2, I look forward to seeing you.” This is a joke about the bald shearing of Jada. Will Smith seemed to laugh at first, but then got up quickly from the place and hit Rock in the face, or so it seemed, writes the BBC. “Wow, Will Smith just slapped me,” Rock said.
Smith, now sitting in his seat and visibly angry, then shouted, “Keep my wife’s name by mouth.” Viewers at home did not hear the last parts of this quarrel, as the ABC broadcaster cut off the sound.
This is not the first time Rock has mocked Jada Pinkett Smith. When he led the ceremony in 2016, he said the boycott of the ceremony for the Oscars So White by Jada was pointless because she was not invited to the Academy Awards anyway.
